Postcards from Quarantine
2020
Do you remember what your first lockdown was like for you? I came out of it with a series of small-format paintings, through which I recorded what it was like to be motionless, rooted in my own home. I felt that I was developing in areas that remained inaccessible to me during all the daily races of my ordinary life. It was as if I suddenly returned to a uterus, in which I could experience timelessness once again.
